This shoot was really cool…not only because we created a pair of really great business headshots for the client…but also because the client also plays guitar.

Bill Adkins and Adkins Strategies, LLC provides a full range of consulting and government relations services to the space and defense industries. Adkins Strategies specializes in providing both strategic and tactical assistance in the planning and implementation of federal marketing activities in the space and defense sectors and in conducting complementary legislative activities to help clients achieve their objectives.
I worked on the technical set-up for my our headshots so that we can create pleasing tones in the blue family that aren’t overpowering and harsh. Bill wore a great suit/tie combo and we shot on the blue background first then switched to my earth-tone (my favorite). It was a difficult decision to narrow down the selection to these two images…and in the end Bill selected the image with the blue background. I agreed with his selection but was pleased that we had 12-15 images to choose from after the first round of culling.
Oh yeah…I also think Bill is a lot better guitar player than I am!
